PRP Facial

Norish

Over time, the PRP amplifies collagen production, encourages the growth of new blood vessels, and increases cell turnover. This results in long-term rejuvenating effects. The treatment can also help smooth fine lines, reduce scars (including acne scars), correct hyperpigmentation, improve skin elasticity, and minimise the appearance of pores.

The stimulated skin continues to improve a person’s overall complexion and radiance, and the results can last for several months at a time.

A PRP or Vampire Facial, is a non-invasive procedure combining micro-needling with the topical application of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood to rejuvenate the skin and boost the complexion. The PRP is derived from the serum portion of the blood containing platelets and high levels of growth factors, which when applied to the skin, attracts stem cells to help your body to repair itself and to stimulate cell turnover.

Prior to the treatment, your skin will be cleansed and prepared just as it would be for a regular facial. A light numbing cream will then be applied to the face, ensuring the procedure is made as comfortable as possible. A 15ml blood sample is then taken and spun in a centrifuge machine to separate the platelets and plasma components. This product is often referred to as ‘liquid gold’. The PRP is then applied to the face and neck and used in conjunction with micro-needling. As the blood sample is taken on the same day, just prior to the treatment, the whole procedure typically lasts approximately 110 minutes, with minimal downtime.
